Pinterest has improved its image search interface. Users can now find what they are looking for more easily and accurately. It has incorporated spell check feature too! Earlier when people searched something, the results were concealed amidst different pins and boards.
Now when users tap the search, it shows the top-trending searches and glimpse of subjects you are searching for.
Here’s a snapshot of the streamlined image search interface:
Sarah Tavel, Product Manager at Pinterest wrote on blog.pinterest.com, “About 12% of all searches on Pinterest include a spelling error, which can make for some disappointing results. But now, if you mistakenly thumb something in that doesn’t sound quite right, we’ll show results for what we think you’re looking for. That way you see better results, and you don’t have to waste time re-thumbing in your search.”
Presently, this feature is available for users in the US only.
