Google has updated its Webmaster Guidelines document. It is the first place that seos and webmasters look up to for SEO best practices. The guideline covers most of the deceptive or manipulative behavior and has summarized the changes in several paragraphs making it easier for users to comprehend the topic well.
Though the general guidelines seem to have undergone a major overhaul, the ‘Quality Guidelines’ have been so far kept intact.
Here’s what Google has to say about the recent developments in Webmaster guidelines:
“Webmasters who spend their energies upholding the spirit of the basic principles will provide a much better user experience and subsequently enjoy better ranking than those who spend their time looking for loopholes they can exploit.”
