Google Is Testing Split-View Language Interface for Results in Hindi

Google is a preferred choice of the search engine in India. Apparently, so, it might be soon on its way to start displaying the search results in split view – English and Hindi! At least this is what we apprehended from the latest split-view language interface testing that Google ran for mobile.

This means if your site is optimized for mobile, then it might rank for English as well as Hindi in search results.  As said, the feature is in testing mode, here’s a screen shot of the test window.

When quizzed about this, a Google spokesperson said, “We’re always experimenting with the look and feel of our products but have nothing to announce.”

Since a sizeable population in India is well versed in English and Hindi, this would undoubtedly be a great feature to boost Google’s popularity in India.
