Google has been stressing the importance of making mobile sites user-friendly. And with mobile algorithm a few days away from its launch, Google is posting blogs on webmastercentral informing users about how they can make their sites interactive. Just yesterday, Google announced on googlewebmastercentral that including ‘autocomplete’ attribute on mobile web sites would help users find information easily.
The post said, “Making websites friendly and easy to browse for users on mobile devices is very important. We hope to see many forms marked up with the “autocomplete” attribute in the future.”
When SEO expert Barry Schwartz asked Webmaster Trends Analyst Gary Illyes on Google+, if the attribute would influence the rankings of the websites, Gary clearly said that autocomplete feature would not affect rankings.
